Ayat al-Kursi (ആയത്തുൽ കുർസി)
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۗ مَن ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ۚ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ ۖ وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ ۖ وَلَا يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ
English Translation: "Allah! There is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great." Malayalam Translation (മലയാളം അർത്ഥം): "അല്ലാഹു - അവനല്ലാതെ യാതൊരു ദൈവവുമില്ല. ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവനും എല്ലാം നിയന്ത്രിക്കുന്നവനുമായ അവൻ. മയക്കമോ ഉറക്കമോ അവനെ ബാധിക്കുകയില്ല. ആകാശങ്ങളിലുള്ളതും ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതുമെല്ലാം അവന്റേതാണ്. അവന്റെ അനുവാദപ്രകാരമല്ലാതെ അവന്റെയടുക്കൽ ശുപാർശ ചെയ്യാൻ കഴിയുന്നവൻ ആരാണ്? അവരുടെ മുമ്പിലുള്ളതും പിന്നിലുള്ളതും അവൻ അറിയുന്നു. അവന്റെ അറിവിൽ നിന്ന് അവൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതല്ലാതെ യാതൊന്നും അവർക്ക് ഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല. അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനം ആകാശഭൂമികളെയാകെ ഉൾക്കൊളളുന്നതാകുന്നു. അവയുടെ സംരക്ഷണം അവന് ഒട്ടും ഭാരമുള്ളതല്ല. അവൻ ഉന്നതനും മഹാനുമാകുന്നു."
Sayyidul Istighfar (സയ്യിദുൽ ഇസ്തിഗ്ഫാർ)
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ لَكِ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
English Translation: "O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I remain faithful to my covenant and my promise to the best of my ability. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge to You Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge to You my sin. So forgive me, for indeed, none can forgive sins except You." Malayalam Translation (മലയാളം അർത്ഥം): "അല്ലാഹുവേ, നീ എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവാണ്, നീയല്ലാതെ ആരാധനക്കർഹനില്ല. നീ എന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ദാസനാണ്. എന്റെ കഴിവിനനുസരിച്ച് ഞാൻ നിന്നോടുള്ള കരാറിലും വാഗ്ദാനത്തിലും ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്നു. ഞാൻ ചെയ്ത തിന്മകളിൽ നിന്ന് ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽ അഭയം തേടുന്നു. നീ എനിക്ക് നൽകിയ അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ സമ്മതിക്കുന്നു, എന്റെ പാപങ്ങളും ഞാൻ ഏറ്റുപറയുന്നു. അതിനാൽ നീ എനിക്ക് പൊറുത്തുതരേണമേ, പാപങ്ങൾ പൊറുത്തുതരാൻ നീയല്ലാതെ മറ്റാരുമില്ല."
Dua Qunut for Witr/Fajr (വിത്റിലെ ദുആ ഖുനൂത്)
اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ، وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ، وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ، وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ، فَإِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلَا يُقْضَىٰ عَلَيْكَ، وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ، وَلَا يَعِزُّ مَنْ عَادَيْتَ، تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ
English Translation: "O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided, and pardon me among those whom You have pardoned, and turn to me in friendship among those to whom You have turned in friendship, and bless me in what You have bestowed, and save me from the evil of what You have decreed. For verily You decree and none can decree over You. And indeed he is not humiliated whom You have befriended, nor is he honored whom You have opposed. Blessed are You, our Lord, and Exalted." Malayalam Translation (മലയാളം അർത്ഥം): "അല്ലാഹുവേ, നീ നേർവഴിയിലാക്കിയവരോടൊപ്പം എന്നെയും നേർവഴിയിലാക്കേണമേ. നീ സുഖം നൽകിയവരോടൊപ്പം എനിക്കും സുഖം നൽകേണമേ. നീ രക്ഷാധികാരിയായവരോടൊപ്പം എന്നെയും രക്ഷാധികാരിയാക്കേണമേ. നീ തന്നതിൽ എനിക്ക് ബർക്കത്ത് (അനുഗ്രഹം) നൽകേണമേ. നീ വിധിച്ചതിന്റെ തിന്മയിൽ നിന്ന് എന്നെ കാക്കേണമേ. നീ വിധിക്കുന്നു, നിനക്കെതിരായി ആരും വിധിക്കുകയില്ല. നീ ആരെ സ്നേഹിച്ചോ അവൻ അപമാനിതനാവില്ല, നീ ആരോട് ശത്രുത കാണിച്ചോ അവൻ പ്രതാപിയാവുകയുമില്ല. ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, നീ അനുഗ്രഹപൂർണ്ണനും ഉന്നതനുമാകുന്നു."
Swalath Ibrahimiyyah (സ്വലാത്ത് ഇബ്രാഹീമിയ്യ)
اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
English Translation: "O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent prayers upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim; indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim; indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious." Malayalam Translation (മലയാളം അർത്ഥം): "അല്ലാഹുവേ, ഇബ്രാഹീം നബിക്കും കുടുംബത്തിനും നീ അനുഗ്രഹം ചൊരിഞ്ഞതുപോലെ മുഹമ്മദ് നബിക്കും കുടുംബത്തിനും നീ അനുഗ്രഹം ചൊരിയേണമേ. തീർച്ചയായും നീ ഏറെ സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനും മഹത്വമുള്ളവനുമാണ്. അല്ലാഹുവേ, ഇബ്രാഹീം നബിയേയും കുടുംബത്തേയും നീ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചതുപോലെ മുഹമ്മദ് നബിയേയും കുടുംബത്തേയും നീ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കേണമേ. തീർച്ചയായും നീ ഏറെ സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനും മഹത്വമുള്ളവനുമാണ്."
Dua for Parents (മാതാപിതാക്കൾക്കായുള്ള ദുആ)
رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
English Translation: "My Lord, have mercy upon them [my parents] as they brought me up when I was small." Malayalam Translation (മലയാളം അർത്ഥം): "എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, എന്റെ ചെറുപ്പകാലത്ത് എന്നെ വളർത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നത് പോലെ നീ അവരോട് കരുണ കാണിക്കേണമേ."
Dua for Entering the Mosque (പള്ളിയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുമ്പോൾ ചൊല്ലേണ്ടത്)
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
English Translation: "O Allah, open for me the gates of Your mercy." Malayalam Translation (മലയാളം അർത്ഥം): "അല്ലാഹുവേ, നിന്റെ കാരുണ്യത്തിന്റെ കവാടങ്ങൾ നീ എനിക്ക് തുറന്നുതരേണമേ."
Dua for Leaving the Mosque (പള്ളിയിൽ നിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ചൊല്ലേണ്ടത്)
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
English Translation: "O Allah, indeed I ask You of Your bounty." Malayalam Translation (മലയാളം അർത്ഥം): "അല്ലാഹുവേ, തീർച്ചയായും നിന്റെ ഔദാര്യത്തിൽ നിന്നും ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് ചോദിക്കുന്നു."
Intention for Fasting / Suhoor (നോമ്പ് നോൽക്കുമ്പോൾ - അത്താഴ സമയത്തെ നിയ്യത്ത്)
وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
English Translation: "I intend to keep the fast tomorrow for the month of Ramadan." Malayalam Translation (മലയാളം അർത്ഥം): "റമളാൻ മാസത്തിലെ നാളത്തെ നോമ്പ് അനുഷ്ഠിക്കാൻ ഞാൻ കരുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു."
Dua for Breaking Fast / Iftar (നോമ്പ് തുറക്കുമ്പോൾ ചൊല്ലേണ്ട ദുആ)
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ
English Translation: "O Allah, for You I have fasted, in You I have believed, and with Your provision I have broken my fast." Malayalam Translation (മലയാളം അർത്ഥം): "അല്ലാഹുവേ, നിനക്ക് വേണ്ടി ഞാൻ നോമ്പെടുത്തു, നിന്നിൽ ഞാൻ വിശ്വസിച്ചു, നീ നൽകിയ ആഹാരം കൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ നോമ്പ് തുറക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു."
Dua after Obligatory Salah (ഫർള് നിസ്കാരത്തിന് ശേഷമുള്ള ദുആ)
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَىٰ ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
English Translation: "O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner." Malayalam Translation (മലയാളം അർത്ഥം): "അല്ലാഹുവേ, നിന്നെ ഓർക്കാനും നിന്നോട് നന്ദി കാണിക്കാനും നിനക്ക് നല്ല രൂപത്തിൽ ആരാധന ചെയ്യാനും എന്നെ നീ സഹായിക്കേണമേ."
